M.O.M is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization that strives to provide various services to the elderly, disabled, and low income individuals with an emphasis on single parent homes. We will strive to provide shelter and financial assistance to low-income and/or homeless individuals and their families.
Our commitment is to meet a broad range of needs that cover far more than just shelter & charity.
MOM was founded by four single mothers who wanted to make a difference in the lives of other single parents and low income families.
Our Annual "Showers Of Love" Community Baby Shower has served 100's of families since we launched this event over six years ago.

"Investigation Station is Pasco County's children's museum and a nonprofit organization that brings interactive experiences to families.
Investigation Station’s first public project was the “From the Sun to Pluto" a virtual walk through our solar system in Starkey Wilderness Park. Visitors make a two-mile trip through beautiful artwork and fun facts about each of the bodies in our solar system.
Investigation Station is privileged to join several other exhibits offered by the Pasco County Libraries, their “Kidstruction” Keva plank exhibit is a traveling STEM exhibit, that includes construction ideas and a catapult and wrecking ball to destroy and encourage expanding ideas.
Their latest community project is the Veterans Memorial Park Water Cycle Splash Pad that will feature learning opportunities based on the water cycle.

Explorer Post #916 is chartered by the Boy Scouts of America and sponsored by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
The Law Enforcement Exploring Program for the Pasco Sheriff’s Office was started with the intention of providing the youth of our communities the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement and develop a more positive relationship between youth and law enforcement officers.
Our purpose is to provide a well-rounded program to our participants that cover the major areas of law enforcement. In so doing we intend to build character, determination and life skills that will last a lifetime. In addition, we will provide each explorer the tools he/she needs in order to make a decision about a career in law enforcement.
Explorers are young adults, ages 14-21, interested in law enforcement as a career. Explorers receive hundreds of hours of classroom and scenario-based training on all aspects of modern law enforcement.
They volunteer service in various areas of the Sheriff’s Office, shadow deputies and other members, and provide assistance at many community and agency events.
Former Explorers have become some of this agency’s most-effective deputies. The Explorer program is lead by a Senior Advisor but depends upon the help and support of many agency members.
